Customer
Education Program
Our
Customer Education Program is designed for technical
staff who are implementing or managing systems based on the MIKON
and INTEKON
software. The progressive series of seminars covers many aspects of using
MIKON Systems' software, ranging from initial system configuration to
routine system management practices. Some introductory seminars are prerequisites
for more advanced offerings.
End
Users
MIKON and INTEKON software are foundation components for
an integrated production information system. MIKON software is a configuration-driven
production data warehouse. The application-building process of configuring
MIKON is the focus of End User seminars. Beginning with MIKON Database
Configuration and MIKON Job Administration, End Users become familiar
with the programs needed to build information management applications
using a sample production scenario. Optional seminars are offered for
MIKON SPC and other advanced capabilities of MIKON software.
System
Managers
Systems Managers
are the designated "technical contacts" at a MIKON/INTEKON server location.
To be effective in managing a server environment, System Managers need
to complete the basic End User seminars plus the System Management Seminar(s)
for the specific MIKON and INTEKON server environment(s) they support.
Customer
Days
Each year,
MIKON Systems hosts its Customer Days Technical Conference.
The Conference provides customers with the opportunity to:
- hear details
of upcoming MIKON and INTEKON software releases from our technical staff
and experience hands-on demonstrations of new products.
- provide
feedback on MIKON and INTEKON software, and give input to our software
planning process.
- share
in discussions on methods, techniques, and results of using MIKON and
INTEKON in diverse application areas.
- meet with
members of our technical staff and
attend special educational seminars.
