Some production problems just can't be solved without looking at the relative data several steps back. In the above MIKON Genealogy presentation, the nodes represent production batches from pulp through winder for an order/lot. Colors indicate overall conformance to target, warning or alarm limits of the product specifications. Complete detail on each unit of production is just a mouse click away, even if it was produced months or years ago!

With so much data available, the ability to select relevant data and spot important information is time-critical. MIKON displays present information with red-yellow-green color highlights to indicate data conformance to product/manufacturing specifications and SPC alarms. The content of the MIKON display shown above results from user choices on a MIKON Datafilter screen that define data inclusion rules based on database attributes like grade/brand, customer/order, measurement value or range. And of course-TIME.
